From proof of concept to turn key production ready SaaS
DiverData is the digital hub for professional divers, diving companies and accreditation bodies. It helps divers log their dives and store their digital documents. Diving companies manage their equipment and its preventative maintenance, and get insights in their divers skill development.
Tilted designed and built the original proof of concept, and now manages the production environment as well as build new features.
The commercial diving industry is famous for being very conservative when it comes to the digital age. Logbooks, equipment maintenance, certificates, everything is analog. In the digital age, we can do better, and so we did.
Together with DiverData we built a proof of concept digital logbook using Ruby on Rails. Based on industry feedback we expanded the platform with functionality for diving companies, including a Preventative Maintenance System (PMS).
Building a proof of concept is one thing. Managing and maintaining a platform used by thousands of divers and diving companies is another. Titled now manages the production environment as well as build new features.
